HIS MAJESTY VISITS SCOTT HOSPITAL ON
His Majesty King Letsie III visited patients particularly children
admitted at Scott Hospital, Morija on Christmas day.
His Majesty also donated 225 blankets to the
Accompanied by the Minister of Health, His Majesty annually and
routinely visits the hospital with special attention given to children
admitted at the Hospital to encourage their speedy recovery while on the
other hand demonstrating love to the sick.
This was disclosed in an interview with LENA by the Manager Hospital
Nursing Services, Sr. Elelloang Ramatla who said the Hospital
appreciated the visit and the donation of blankets to the hospital by
Sr. Ramatla said His Majesty through the donation addressed the
challenge of blankets that the hospital experienced, saying they will be
marked and then be distributed to different wards of the hospital.
His Majesty also presented gifts to four new born babies, who were
delivered on Saturday (24 December, 2016) as the hospital did not
receive deliveries of newly born babies on Christmas day, said Sr.
Talking about the casualties registered this Christmas holidays, Sr.
Ramatla said this year the hospital attended nine people who were
assaulted by walking sticks who included eight men and a woman.
She said no casualties resulting from gun injuries or car accidents were
seen this year.
Meanwhile 'Mamohato Memorial Hospital registered four deliveries of
newly born babies, three girls and a boy on Christmas day.
