The Prime Minister, Dr Pakalitha Mosisili and his delegation arrived in the country on Wednesday after being in Algeria for official visit.

In brief interview with LENA, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Relations, Dr 'Mamphono Khaketla said that the Prime Minister's visit was a follow up to His Majesty King Letsie III's state visit last year, which aimed to enhance bilateral relations between the two countries.

She noted that it is during the visit that the two countries through Ministries of Education signed a Memorandum of Understanding on higher education Learner-ship Exchange Programme, adding that lecturers of science and technology from Algeria will take sabbatical leaves to come and teach in the country for some time.

She also stated that there were also meetings with Ministers of Agriculture and Mining, saying a delegation from the Mining department in Algeria will be in the country soon to help discover different types of minerals available in Lesotho.

Upon arrival at the Moshoeshoe I International Airport, Dr Mosisili was welcomed by Cabinet Ministers and other government senior officials.
