Their Majesties King Letsie III and Queen ‘Masenate Mohato Seeiso are in Thailand for three days starting on Wednesday to attend the Royal Cremation Ceremony of the late His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej who passed on in October 13, 2016. 

The late King Adulyadej has been lying in state for a year since his passing.

This has been stated in a press release issued by the Information Office from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Relations. 

Their Majesties will then proceed to Australia from October 28 to November 09, 2017 where His Majesty King Letsie III will pay a courtesy call on the Governor General of Australia, who represents Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II as the Head of State. 

His Majesty will also meet with the Victorian Minister of Agriculture and attend the Melbourne Horse Race.

Their Majesties are accompanied on this visit by amongst others, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Relations, Mr. Lesego Makgothi, the Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Mr. Mahala Molapo.

Others are the Principal Chief of Tajane, Chief Thato Mohale, Senior Private Secretary to His Majesty Mr. Monehela Posholi, the Principal Secretary for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Nkopane Monyane, Principal Secretary for Ministry of Agriculture, Mr. Malefetsane Nchaka and other senior government officials.

Their Majesties and the entourage left the country on Tuesday.
